Matthew Love, THE WILHELM Bam! Sperm met egg; a few years later Matthew Love found himself writing and performing in New York. Currently, he's a part of PIT house team The Wilhelm, sketch crew Nefarious Popes and is one half of Gadflies with Nikhil Rao. As a writer, he is more than somewhat responsible for comedic concern "Dog & Baby" and regularly completes journalistic gigs for Comedians Magazine, Time Out and The Onion AV Club in New York. High school introduced Matthew to short-form improv and George S. Kaufman, a dead playwright who would later attempt to crush his soul in a collegiate setting. Matthew amassed and naively directed "The Lords of Misrule," a CU-Boulder troupe that over time included many PIT folk like Jen Nails and Kristen Schaal. In addition to studying with the full cadre of PIT teachers, Matthew has learned from some Second City people (Michael Gellman, Martin DeMaat) and some UCB people (Ian Roberts, Michael Delaney) though he refuses to learn from his own mistakes.
